New Director of Events – Alexis Washington
Alexis joined St. David's staff on Wednesday, March 20, and has worked alongside Chef Ray and former Director of Events Taylor Cloyd throughout Holy Week and Easter. Alexis also greeted guests at our Wednesday parish dinner and Thursday public lunch.
Passionate about creating unforgettable experiences, Alexis comes to St. David's with a background in event coordination and guest services. She was the sales and events coordinator at the Holiday Inn Express in Dripping Springs. Alexis has experience working with wedding and event venues and is passionate about hosting, decorating, and serving others.
Alexis' journey in hospitality has been defined by a commitment to excellence and a dedication to exceeding expectations. She looks forward to being part of St. David’s community and hopes to continue carrying the torch passed on to her by the phenomenal Taylor Cloyd.
The parish is invited to say hello to Alexis this Sunday, April 7, in Sumners Hall and to wish Taylor a bon voyage before she moves to Australia! Please note: Sunday, April 7: Take I-35 to 8th Street to get to church. Avoid the Statesman Capitol 10K.
