Sunday, October 21
10:30 a.m. Worship
11:30 a.m. Picnic
Join us for the 2nd annual Harvest Sunday Celebration on Sunday, October 21.
On this day, St. David’s will host an all-parish worship service followed by a BBQ picnic and celebration. Our primary worship service will take place at 10:30 a.m. in the Historic Church. After this, we will move to the front surface lot to enjoy Chef Ray’s BBQ, Amy’s Ice Cream, live music, a photo booth, a face painter, and fun activities for all ages!
Father Chuck is asking everyone to make their annual giving commitment during worship:
Harvest Sunday is our time to lift our hearts in gratitude for our wondrous parish which God has entrusted to us. To celebrate everything God has given us, during worship, we will bring our annual giving commitment cards to the altar. By all of us bringing our giving cards to the altar together, we are showing our commitment to God, St. David’s, and each other. There will be giving cards available for you at the church to fill out. Or you can bring the card mailed to you.
Details for this day: BBQ and beverages are complimentary; donations to cover costs will be accepted at the event. On this day we will not have our regular Adult, Youth, and Children’s Formation classes; child care for ages 2 months-3 years will be offered on the first floor beginning at 10 a.m. We will have our usual 8 a.m., 5 and 8 p.m. worship services. We will not have the 9 a.m. or the 9:15 a.m. service. In the event the 10:30 a.m. worship service gets full, we’ll observe our overflow practice of asking everyone to move as far into the pews as possible, then directing overflow to Sumners Hall where the service will be broadcast.
