Membership at St. David’s
If you consider St. David’s to be your church home and wish to become a church Member, please notify Dr. Amy Moehnke. We will just need some basic information about your Baptism date and place* and your previous church home for our parish records. We are so glad you are here!

A Few Helpful Definitions
A Baptized Member has received Christian Baptism by water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Canon of the Episcopal Church-Canon 17, Section 1a
The Episcopal Church recognizes and accepts most mainstream denominations’ ceremonies of Baptism. If you are interested in Baptism, Contact the Rev. Angela Cortiñas.
An Adult Baptized Member is at least 16 years old. Canons of the Episcopal Church- Canon 17, Section 2b.
A Communicant in Good Standing Member has over the previous year, been faithful in attending corporate worship, unless prevented by good cause; and has been faithful in praying, working, and giving for the spread of the Kingdom of God. Canons of the Episcopal Church-Canon 17, Section 3.
A Confirmed Member has been confirmed by a Bishop of the Episcopal Church or a Bishop of a Church in communion with the Episcopal Church or has been received into the Episcopal Church by a Bishop of the Episcopal Church. Canons of the Diocese of Texas- Title III, Canon 2, Section 2.2
Adult Confirmed Communicant Members in Good Standing can vote in parish meetings. Canon of the Episcopal Church-Canons of the Diocese of Texas- Title III, Canon 2, Section 2.2.
Confirmed Communicant Members in Good Standing who are at least 18 years old can hold parish offices such as Warden or Vestry Member. Canons of the Diocese of Texas- Title III, Canon 2, Section 2.2.
