Holy Hikes and Holy Kayaks

Third Saturdays, 9-10:30 a.m., meets rain or shine

Holy Hikes® is a network of Christian eco-ministries committed to rebuilding Communion between all of God’s Creation by worshiping God in the beauty of the outdoors. We will hold liturgical hikes throughout the year to immerse ourselves in what John Muir called God’s “first temples.” We meet on the third Saturday of the month. The location changes each month. The plan is to offer a Eucharist (following the liturgy similar to communion groups) as part of a hike. Register for specific hike directions/instructions.

Holy Kayaks

Holy Kayaks is a liturgical, riverine experience that we hold on Lady Bird Lake. We will immerse ourselves in God’s magnificent creation in the heart of Austin in the company of cormorants, coots, and swans. Pastor Angela will lead us in Morning Prayer. We’ll launch from Texas Rowing Center. Bring your own kayak or rent one: solo kayaks are $15/hour; tandems are $20/hour. Invite a friend.
