Featuring not only service music written by David but also favorite anthems specially chosen by him and sung by current and former St. David’s choir members. Lunch will follow in Sumners Hall.
8 p.m. Final Compline, Historic Church
The culmination of more than 30 years of David leading this sung service of evening prayer.
Please join us as we give thanks for David’s long and fruitful ministry with us.
Aug. 7 will be the last Sunday in Historic Church before construction begins.
NEW WORSHIP SCHEDULE
Starting on Welcome Home Sunday, Aug. 14:
All services in Bethell Hall after construction begins in the Historic Church
8-8:45 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite I
We will hear readings and receive communion (gluten-free wafers available). This is a spoken service and does not include music.
9-10 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II (Extended Language)
We will hear readings, sing hymns, and receive communion (gluten-free wafers available). This service combines a traditional liturgy with a diverse selection of music (choral, organ, and guitar). Children of all ages and their parents may participate in children’s chapel during the sermon and will be invited to join the clergy at the altar during the Eucharistic Prayer.
11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II
We will hear readings, sing hymns, and receive communion (gluten-free wafers available). This service is a traditional liturgy with traditional music and will be livestreamed.
Designed with families and young children in mind, a dedicated Pray-Ground soft space is available to help children and parents stay engaged during the service.
