Holy Week and Easter 2021

Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday

Monday in Holy Week

Tuesday in Holy Week

Wednesday in Holy Week

Maundy Thursday

Since we have not celebrated the Eucharist behind the altar in either Bethell Hall or Historic Church in more than a year, tonight, liturgically, we are invited to pick up where we left off. The altar is as it was last Maundy Thursday.

Good Friday

With the permission of Bishop Doyle, we are using some newly composed prayers during the Solemn Collects for this Good Friday service. These new collects were born out of the work of a task force at St. David’s in 2019-2020.

Holy Saturday

Easter Sunday

Even though we will still be worshipping virtually for the Great Vigil of Easter and Easter Day, we will have beautiful flowers to adorn the altar and Paschal candles, and your donations for these special decorations are most appreciated. You can give online or send a check with “Easter flowers” in the memo line.

Church buildings and offices will be closed on Monday, April 5.

Visit Wilderness Mural and Flowering Cross Memorial

Tuesday, April 6, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
All are invited to stop by St. David’s to “flower the cross” and take pictures with it! Please remember to wear your mask and stay socially-distanced from those who are not part of your household.

While you’re there, you should stroll to the corner of San Jacinto and 7th Street to see the temporary mural – another good photo op! Share photos/videos and tag on social media #stationsofthewilderness.
