Bedtime Story Brigade was on hiatus during the renovation of the Salvation Army family shelter, and was scheduled to resume on March 24. However, the Salvation Army Family Shelter, out of concern for volunteers, staff and residents, has decided to cancel all activities through the remainder of March. They will re-evaluate the policy at the end of March and make a decision about continuing into April.
When Bedtime Story Brigade resumes it will be at a new time:
7 p.m., second Sunday of every month and volunteers will meet at the Salvation Army Rathgaber Center rather than the St. David’s lobby.
Volunteers will share an evening of bedtime stories, crafts, milk, and cookies with homeless children at the Salvation Army family shelter. Contact Bedtime Story Brigade for more details.
