Café Divine & Holy Grounds Update

A note from Chef Ray and Taylor Cloyd

Greetings. We hope that everyone is doing as well as one can in these trying times. To everyone we have the pleasure to cook for and to serve, know that you are in our hearts and prayers as we all work to overcome the challenges presented to all of us by COVID-19.

Café Divine and Holy Grounds are following all ordinances mandated by officials at the city, state and federal level. Like all other restaurants statewide, we have suspended our in-person food service operations until May 1, 2020. However, we are not shutting down and quite frankly need your support.

As we write this, the staff at Café Divine and Holy Grounds are working on curbside pick-up service at St. David’s. We will offer both ready-to-eat and ready-to heat foods that you enjoy from Café Divine and Holy Grounds. We envision sandwiches, soups, salads, sliced brisket, roasted chicken dinners–the list goes on!

We would love to hear from you, our loyal customers, about this. Please feel free to drop an email note or even a phone call (we would love that!). The best way is to first contact Chef Ray via email, and we can schedule a time. Your support is needed!

As you know, Café Divine and Holy Grounds are ministries of St. David’s Episcopal Church. If you find yourself in need of someone to talk to, our St. David’s clergy and staff are available. Let us know and we will have someone contact you.  We also invite you to join our online Sunday church services as well as adult, youth, and children’s Christian education classes. You can find links to our ongoing programming at

Thank you and we will get through this together,
