Feb. 29 | St. Agnes Guild Meeting

10 a.m., Guild Room, Usually meets last Saturdays of the month

Knitted and crocheted soap sacks

The St. Agnes Guild just donated 64 knitted and crocheted soap sacks to the Brownsville Border Project!  They will be stuffed with soap and taken to Brownsville as part of the outreach mission to provide relief to asylum-seeking people in Matamoros. To learn more and sign up for on-going activity updates please visit The Border Trip Interest Form.

Don’t know how to knit? St. Agnes’ Guild members will quickly teach you how. Meetings are fun, fellowship, and service all rolled into one!  Extra yarn and knitting needles are provided. When the weather turns cold, the caps and scarves are blessed and distributed to the clients of Trinity Center. Prayer shawls are given to people who are ill or in nursing homes. Shawl requests are welcome.

The St. Agnes Guild is a group of knitters and crocheters of all ages. They make prayer shawls, preemie hats, scarves, hats and mittens for the homeless and others who need them.

Contact Barbara Haefeli for more information.
