Dec. 11 | Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

7:30 p.m., Historic Church

Eucharistic service to honor the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The Rev. Chad McCall will officiate and the sermon will be delivered by Rebecca Hall. Our Lady of Guadalupe, also known as the Virgin of Guadalupe, is considered the Patroness of Mexico and the Continental Americas, she is venerated by Native Americans, and is considered the protector of innocent children. Contributions made at the service will be donated in support of two on-going immigration-related efforts by St.David’s parishioners: The Border Team assisting Team Brownsville, providing humanitarian assistance for asylum seekers and Go and Do Likewise, supporting an asylum-seeking family from Angola legally living in Austin. For more information on these activities visit our Immigration webpage. A reception will be held following the service in the foyer outside the Sanctuary. Contact Diane Mazuca for more information.
