Fundraisers

All youth fundraisers are to help pay for the Youth Spring Break Pilgrimage and Summer Mission Trips. Financial assistance is always available for youth if they have participated in fundraising activities. Financial means will never be a restriction from participation in youth events at St. David’s.

Brisket Sales: Youth will help to coordinate sales of brisket for noteworthy football games throughout the year to be sold on Sunday mornings.
Christmas Wreath Sales: Every year during October and November, the youth sell beautiful evergreen Christmas wreaths to help with funding for the ski trip or mission trip.

Mamma Leone’s Italian Dinner: Usually in January, the youth host this Italian Dinner for the parish and friends to help raise money for ski trip. The youth sell tickets, work as waiters and waitresses, and auction off desserts.  This is a really fun, festive event.
Flamingo Flocking: Please join the youth in this zany, hilarious fundraiser by spreading pink flamingos throughout the parish family. Stealth youth teams will flock parishioners’ homes after dark, leaving a bright surprise throughout yards across town. If you wake up to the bright pink surprise, please call the Rev. Beth Magill to arrange for flock removal for $25, and the possibility of passing on the excitement to another family for $50. All funds raised will help to send the youth on their mission trips to New Orleans and Galveston this summer. Flamingos appearing in a yard near you in the Spring of 2011!
