Confirmation
Confirmation is a sacramental rite in which persons who have been duly prepared make a mature, public affirmation of their faith and a commitment to the responsibilities of Baptism and receive the laying on of hands by the bishop. It is appropriate for any baptized person who has matured in their faith, would like to renew their baptismal vows, and has not been previously been confirmed.
Several classes are offered during each year as opportunities to prepare for Confirmation. These include the Christianity 101 Series (a Sunday morning class), and the Extended Discovery Series (a 12-week evening series beginning in January).
