Strategic Plan: Our Goals
St. David’s is a parish committed to a continual process of strategic planning- which, to say it another way, is how an organization intentionally, actively, and prayerfully seeks to discern God’s call to us as a body. In the past year, the Vestry adopted five goals as a response to our series of discussions and surveys with members of both the parish and the larger community. Please read these goals and reflect on how you see them in the many ministries of our parish and how they could be brought to life in our work together.
ST. DAVID’S GOALS FOR 2010-2013
• Through radical hospitality, invitation and evangelism, we will welcome all and seek those who are not yet part of the St. David’s community.
• St. David’s will embrace the faithful stewardship of creation: the human, financial, physical, and spiritual gifts with which we have been entrusted.
• Recognizing our call as One Body, united in Christ, we will foster intentional, effective communication among our vestry, staff and community.
• St. David’s will actively assist all in attaining the sacraments, the spiritual nurture and the pastoral care to equip them to carry out Christ’s mission in the world.
• St. David’s will help carry out Christ’s mission in the Church and the world through leadership and service at the local, regional and international level.
In fulfilling these goals we will strive to reflect the 5 touchstones of: Worship, Study, Service, Fellowship and Invitation.
